Google Adsense Concept

Google Adsense is a program for internet business which is very popular in the online world today. Everyone can participate to be a publisher. It is very easy, just by place Google ads on your sites. With the method of commission pay per click (PPC), to make money from Google Adsense is simple and highly fluid, unlike other affiliation, which requires us to sell something to get a commission.

To get more clicks on Google AdSense ads (GA) we need to do optimization. One of the key's is Making your Ads look less like Ads. How? Here are some tips and tricks.


Ad formats
Ad Format Units
In general, rectangles are ad units which are most profitable, ie 336 280, 300 250, and 250 250 format. For 468 60 is less good because this format will be visible that it is advertising.

If you want to put a vertical ad, you should use the format 160 600. Avoid to add vertical ad on the site with 2 column layout. Because it will look full of ads. I recommend using the 3 column layout.

Link Units
Almost the same as ad units, link units avoid measuring 468 15. Will better if you add the link units format of 768 15 (5 units) and put it in the header of your site. This will give the impression that these units is the site navigation menu, not advertising.


Positioning
Positioning can influence the number of clicks you get. The best location, of course, the most frequently seen or seen by visitors.

Make sure there is at least one ad at the top of the site where visitors do not need to roll up the screen to see it. Also distribute the ad units to spread in various locations, do not collect it at one point. This aims to avoid saturation of visitors and the assumption that our site is the MFA. For the link units as we have discussed above, make sure to put it at the header of site.

For Adsense search box, usually visitors will always find the search box in the upper right corner of the site first before looking elsewhere. So just put your best search box at that position. At least in the top position of sidebar.

Color format
There are two types of color formats, Blended and Stand-Out. Blended to unify GA ads with site content. While stand-Out is a striking color to attract visitors.

Many people who advice to use blended model, to disguise the ads, so ads can be integrated with the content . Please note if you want to use this format, we recommend the color border and ad background colors corresponding to the GA border and background sites. Color of advertising links on the GA should also be identified with the color of the link in the site.

But there is also a reference to provide a stand-out format, because some publishers have proved if stand-out also gives good result. For links, usually blue links are relatively more at-clicks than other colors. This is related to the internet visitor mindset that the blue is a link to other sites on the Internet.
